Phyllis App Patterson, 71, of Spicewood, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2019, after a long illness. Phyllis was born on March 10, 1948 in Watertown, SD. She was one of ten children born to Lucille (Keimig) and Arnold App. She is survived by siblings Mike (Jennifer), Alvin, and Mabel App. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents and five other siblings.
Phyllis met the love of her life, Larry Roy Patterson, who was serving in the Navy, at a get together in San Francisco, California. They married on December 30, 1967. From that date they started their 52 years of love and dedication. During that time Phyllis, a career woman at AMD for 20 years, became a mother and then a grandma while supporting her husband in his plumbing business. She is survived by her husband Larry Roy Patterson, three children: Greg (Emily) Patterson, Brian (Katrina) Patterson, Shannon (Andre) Brown; and nine grandchildren: Tristan, Siobhan, Rhiannon, Logan, Jordan, Domenic, Taevin, Jace and Reaghan. As a woman who impacted many lives, Phyllis is also survived by many family members and friends who impacted her life. Phyllis was a dedicated wife, mother and grandma.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 31, 2019, at 3:00 pm at Marble Falls Church of Christ, 711 Broadway, Marble Falls, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to cover accrued expenses from her lengthy illness. The family would like to thank all her caregivers and those who have helped through this time. A special thank you to Denise who always went above and beyond.
